Mountain Biking Specialist Camp Piomingo
POSITION PREFERENCES & FUNCTIONS:
Preferred Age: 19+
Build/oversee Mountain Biking curriculum and operation
Regularly communicate supply inventory to Activity & Logistics Coordinator/Program Director
Repair program equipment as necessary
Complete all Pathfinders for program area
Ensure cleanliness of program areas
Operate as a Cabin Counselor outside of designated program times
Team player with personal commitment to YMCA Mission, Philosophy & Character Development Values
Ensure the emotional, mental, and physical safety of all participants
Complete required paperwork in timely manner
Work in tandem with other camp staff to create a safe and welcoming experience for all
Effectively manage camper behavior and homesickness
Inform leadership staff of any camper or staff concerns
Ability to accept guidance and supervision
Ability to demonstrate enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience, self-control, maturity, responsibility, sound judgment, and good decision-making skills
Be of good character, and in sympathy with the goals and objectives of YMCA Camp Piomingo
Other duties as assigned
STATUS: Part-time; Non-exempt, Seasonal
STARTING SALARY: $425+/week (DOE)
