Overview:
The VP, Enterprise Infrastructure & Telecommunications Operations is responsible for leading the infrastructure technology and telecommunication platforms and operations for BrightSpring Health Services.
This role will lead the design, development, and performance functions for all computing platforms and data storage infrastructure, including servers, storage, networks, voice, and databases.
This role will oversee the development of strategies and standards for platform infrastructure, enterprise storage management and platform operations automation, while ensuring that service levels adhere to ITIL principles and effect improvements, reduce costs and enhance efficiency.
Responsibilities: Responsible for the overall architecture, design, deployment, utilization and enhancement of enterprise infrastructure (data center operations, networking, telecom, end user devices) Plan and implement major modifications to company-wide technology infrastructure, including relevant Data Center migrations and Disaster Recovery plans, as well as the high volume of field operations changes (moves, adds, changes, removal of physical infrastructure) Plan and drive metrics for improved network/telecom performance Oversee operations of the information systems, including local area networks and wide-area networks, telecommunications, databases, and office automation Responsible for availability and uptime of infrastructure (owned, shared, and outsourced) Responsible for release management process to ensure the availability and uptime of key systems Lead the development of enterprise-wide standards for infrastructure, including the Company's entire collection of hardware, software, networks, data centers, facilities and related equipment used to develop, test, operate, monitor, manage and/or support information technology services, and ensure compatibility and integration of systems with other IT platforms Lead the creation of the IT Infrastructure Roadmap, including strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of the information and technology systems Collaborate with the Heads of Security, Governance, Application Development, Support, and Quality to provide strategic direction regarding IT Operations, including helpdesk, application engineering, and installation and maintenance of networks, server, hardware, software, and telecommunications systems Provide thought leadership in IT strategy, operational efficiency, cost-optimization, and innovation Monitor regulatory and industry changes for potential impact to company IT and infrastructure Collaborate with the Head of Security, accountable for securing the organization's networks, systems, applications, and data from internal and external threats Support adoption and execution of project lifecycle methodology and engage with other IT functional teams to champion communication across blended teams Ensure that data systems are capable of provision of all patient data and statistics as required by federal, state and local agencies Develop and maintain a system recovery plan in the event of power failure, damage to system, etc.
Facilitate correction of any system failures and ensure availability of a contact point for computer issues Oversee the development, maintenance, and communication of systems documentation, policies, and procedures Provide input into the development of the IT department budget and manage the department operational budget, including making major purchasing decisions Responsible for the review and approval of all hardware and software acquisition and maintenance contracts in partnership with management team members as appropriate Accountable for ensuring vendor relationships meet the needs of the business through service delivery and performance guarantees Qualifications: Bachelor's required, Master's preferred Minimum 10 years of infrastructure network experience Budget and Financial Management Advanced Written and Oral Communications Working knowledge of architecture & design methodologies for large-scale networks Functional understanding of network financial management, ROI analysis and business case development Strong leadership and managerial skills Strong change management skills Strong time management and planning skills required to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously while adapting to changes in a fast-paced environment High level of technical proficiency in clinical systems Strong customer service orientation Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills Adept at reading, writing, and interpreting technical documentation and procedure manuals Ability to present ideas and solutions in user-friendly language Highly self-motivated and directed Keen attention to detail Skilled at working within a team-oriented, collaborative environment Advanced Written and Oral Communications Working knowledge of architecture & design methodologies for large-scale networks Travel up to 25% About our Line of Business: BrightSpring Health Services is a leading provider of complementary home and community-based pharmacy and health services for complex populations in need of chronic and/or specialized care.
