Job Description:
Days: Monday - Friday
Hours: 6:00pm - 11:00pm
Job Summary
This is not a remote position, and you must live within the geographic area of Louisville, KY to report to office.
This position responds to inbound phone calls and provides excellent customer service concerning shipping, packaging, marking, labeling, documentation, etc.
He/She performs other tasks as requested.
Responsibilities:
Ensures customers and UPSers are in compliance with hazardous materials/dangerous goods laws and regulations.
Fields calls from customers concerning proper guidelines for shipping dangerous goods
Fields calls from UPSers in the operation concerning proper guidelines for accepting, loading, and storing air, ground, domestic, and international dangerous goods.
Qualifications:
Customer Service skills/experience.
UPS operations knowledge.
Good verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
Dangerous good knowledge helpful but not required.
