Plumbers Supply Co, a family-owned business in operation for 103 years, has an immediate opportunity for a Customer Service/Loader.
Schedule is 7am - 3:30pm Monday-Friday (with possible required overtime)(hours can be subject to change).
Customer Service/Loader is responsible for delivering orders in a timely manner to the Will Call and Drive Thru and will be required to load customer's vehicles as required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Deliver Completed Immediate Need Orders to Will Call and Drive Thru.
Follow procedures to ensure team has visibility to location of completed order.
Load, Unload, Move, Stack and Stage product and materials using a forklift or order picker.
Secure loads to prevent damage.
Be available to fill in for other roles as needed.
Accurately pick products by matching number and products using RF Scanner.
Check orders for accuracy and quality.
Quick learner who can think on their feet and resolve any issues that may arise with our customer focused business mentality, serving as the voice and face of our company, and be an integral part to reinforcing our reputation for exceptional customer service.
Maintains and protects all property entrusted to Customer Service/Loader.
Operate forklift and other materials handling equipment.
Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople, customer traffic, and employees.
Functions as a contributing member of the Warehouse Team.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Previous Warehouse Experience Preferred
Forklift Experience
Constant pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching over head and reaching forward
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs routinely
Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs and occasionally life and/or move up to more than 75 lbs with assistance.
Must have good spatial awareness to fit different size loads on different types of trucks.
Ability to work in a non-climate controlled warehouse
Stamina to stand & walk for up to 8 hours a day
Able to read, speak and write in English
