*Job Summary*:
KWA is looking for a highly motivated attorney to represent our Firm's practice in Kentucky.
The position would be responsible for representing national and regional creditors throughout Kentucky.
The firm maintains a hybrid remote in/out of office policy with a flexible schedule.
*Primary Responsibilities:*
* Handle consumer debt collection caseload for national and regional creditors throughout Kentucky.
* Review and approval of all pleadings, motions, and executions.
* Handling a caseload in collections, bankruptcies related to collections, replevins, and primary bankruptcy matters.
* Attend all court matters.
* Assist with client audits and attend professional conferences.
* Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
*Qualifications and Requirements:*
* Experience: 3+ years' in consumer and commercial debt collection with FDCPA experience and understanding of compliance regulations promulgated by the CFPB is preferred.
Knowledge and experience in residential foreclosure and bankruptcy is a plus but not required.
* A law license in Kentucky is required.
A dual license in Kentucky and Indiana or other mid-west States is a plus.
* Travel: Attendance at court matters throughout the State is required
